Position Summary:
Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to start in August 2025.Responsibilities primarily include teaching management classes with a specific focus on our senior capstone course, Business Policy and Strategy, which serves all majors in the Business School. The candidate will also need a secondary area of expertise in human resource management and/or international business.Responsibilities will also include formal and informal advising of students, rigorous scholarship, along with school and university service.

Required Qualifications:
An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Management or a related field. A record that illustrates current excellent teaching in the area of Strategic Management (Business Policy) and industry experience are required. This candidate will be expected to interact openly and inspire students through their teaching strategies which demonstrates a high level of organization and communication.Candidates will need to meet the School's definition of a Scholarly Academic and demonstrate they are an active academic scholar in a business (or related) discipline.To do this, a faculty must either have received his/her Ph.D. within the past 5 years or must have at least two publications in high quality peer-reviewed journals within the prior 5 years.Note: New Ph.D.'s are considered SA for five years after receiving their Ph.D. By the end of the fifth year, the faculty member must meet the general SA requirements.

About the area

The University of Western Australia (UWA) Medical School is the largest and longest established medical school in Western Australia. It delivers a 4-year post-graduate MD course to domestic and international students. The School also has substantial and successful research programs across most disciplines in the medical sector. Together with our key partner, the University of Arizona (U of A), UWA Medical School is developing a new medical degree (Global MD) to run alongside its existing world-class offerings. About the opportunity


	Develop and deliver world-class Medical Science content within the first two years of the Global MD, in alignment with the global heath, primary care and Indigenous health domains of the program
	Contribute to providing student doctors with a world class learning experience in the classroom and using digital formats
	Grow a team of medical science educators and tutors to deliver the Global MD and work in synergy with the established medical science team in the UWA Doctor of Medicine course


About you 


	Develop, coordinate?and deliver world-class teaching?in the medical science Curriculum within the Global MD including Unit Coordination duties as required.?
	Collaborate and lead pre-clinical medical science delivery with other disciplines to provide vertically and horizontally integrated medical education.
	Create digital and in-person learning resources, practical modules and innovative teaching materials and assessments across the Global MD program with a focus on global health, preventative medicine, and primary care.?
	Attract and contribute to student recruitment and selection, participating in interview panels and related activities

The School of Interdisciplinary Studies (SIS) was established to deepen interdisciplinary studies and scholarly collaboration. The SIS houses a number of interdisciplinary undergraduate programmes. The appointee will join the teaching team of the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Public Management and Smart Governance (PMSG) and is expected to contribute to high quality teaching.

The appointee will be expected to teach courses in Public Management, Data Analytics, Housing Policy, and Public Finance, as well as engage in student advising and mentoring. The appointee will also assume the role of Programme Director for PMSG. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in programme management and development.

Requirements

Candidates should have (i) a doctoral degree in relevant disciplines; (ii) a minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching relevant courses and relevant programme administrative experience; and (iii) good command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin).

The Faculty of Bio and Environmental Sciences is looking for a

RESEARCH TECHNICIAN/LABORATORY COORDINATOR IN ECOLOGICAL AND EVOLUTIONARY GENOMICS AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY.

The position is permanent, with a 6-month trial period. The position starts 1st June 2025, or by mutual agreement.

Research technician/laboratory coordinator assists Faculty research teams in conducting molecular biology and genomic analyses in ecologically relevant species. Tasks include, for instance, DNA and RNA extraction, next-generation sequencing (e.g. bulk and single-cell RNA-seq), targeted SNP assay development and analysis, and related bioinformatic methodologies. Additional tasks may include ordering reagents, database maintenance, assistance with animal and plant experiments, training new lab members and assisting other lab members as needed.

The successful candidate is expected to have experience with at least some of the above-mentioned techniques and be enthusiastic about learning others. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with excellent organizational skills and good English communication skills. We appreciate a cooperative attitude and enthusiasm for learning new techniques and skills.

The salary for the position is determined according to the demand level of other staff in the universities' salary system. The requirement level of the research technician/laboratory coordinator is 6-8. In addition to the task-specific salary component, a salary component based on personal performance is paid.
