Description
The San Diego State University (SDSU) Department of Finance in the Fowler College of Business seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member (Assistant Professor) who has a research and teaching interest in Corporate Finance, to begin in Fall 2025.  This position is contingent upon state funding. 

Qualifications
Qualified applicants will hold a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Finance or in a related field by August 2025. The successful candidate will possess strong research interest and capability as evidenced by an appropriate history of, or potential for, professional growth activity. This will include regular publication in high-quality, refereed journals and professional conference participation as well as demonstration of an innovative and active research agenda. Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels is preferred.  Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate an ability to interact effectively with members of the business community.  The SDSU Fowler College of Business is among the nation's oldest and largest AACSB accredited business schools. Its accomplished faculty and highly ranked academic programs provide an exceptional foundation for an institution with significant regional, national and international impact.  The Fowler College of Business enrolls approximately 9,000 undergraduate and about 600 graduate students. The Finance Department includes 18 full-time tenured and tenure-track faculty members, and it offers the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with majors in Finance, Financial Services, and Real Estate. About the Role

The Web Systems Manager provides technical leadership to support the efficient operation of the CareSearch Group of websites and applications, developing effective operational processes, providing advice on systems and applications and manages website workflow across the projects.

The Web Systems Manager also designs and uploads content and resources for national websites and applications managed within the CareSearch projects. This includes the CareSearch, palliAGED and ELDAC websites, and other determined projects utilising infrastructure such as the content management system, research data management system, learning management system, and newsletter and communications systems. ??Due to the nature of the work, occasional weekend and/or evening work is a requirement of this position.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of five departments of the SECMS and currently has academic programmes in Mechanical and Mechatronics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with strong interests in Energy, Design, Materials and Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering, System Dynamic and Control, Robotics and Mechatronics. Our programs are contemporary and popular, and we have built a reputation of excellence in teaching, research and engagement with the wider community through the dedication and expertise of our staff.
