Founded in 1968, the Universidad Panamericana (UP) is a Catholic university based in Mexico City.

The main Mixcoac campus, founded in 1968, is based in the Benito Juarez borough of Mexico City. In addition, there are three separate campuses, also in Mexico City: the Guadalajara campus established in 1981, the Aguascalientes campus established in 1989 and Campus Santa Fe, established in 2011.

The university is also in charge of the nearby Preparatoria Universidad Panamericana (Panamerican University High school).

Originally founded as a business school, the university has since expanded its offerings. Subjects on offer include: economics, industrial engineering, accounting, marketing, international business and medicine.

UP has a plethora of modern facilities for students to enjoy as part of their studies, which include laboratories, television studios, photography studios and a radio station.

To facilitate study, UP has fostered relationships with many businesses, which encourage recruitment from the university.

On campus, students are encouraged to get involved in a variety of social activities including jazz, ballet, photography, theatre groups and orchestra.

For those with an interest in sports, there are also plenty of teams and clubs including basketball, taekwondo, volleyball, swimming and soccer. There are both internal and external tournaments for students to compete in throughout the year.

UP has also established relationships with universities around the world, carrying out various exchange activities such as academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation and the opportunity for students to study abroad.

Universities include University of Westminster (UK), Shanghai Normal University (China) and the University of Montreal (Canada).
