Ceredigion FE College in West Wales is to close its Felinfach campus this summer. Felinfach, which houses the college's agricultural department, has been declared unviable after making losses of almost Pounds 100,000 a year.
The best hope of the 60 students and 16 staff is that Aberystwyth University's new Institute of Rural Studies will take over the courses. Local farmers are also considering running it as a co-operative.
