Organisations should improve their expertise in staff planning to fit in with the current climate of "downsizing" and decentralisation, according to a report released this week by the Institute for Employment Studies. The report follows findings of a recent Royal Society of Arts survey, which showed that 90 per cent of the UK's larger organisations have restructured during the past five years.
