After the Student Loan Company made such a song and dance about students not giving them forwarding addresses, I called to do just that... only to be told to call back next week. I am counting the days until I get a letter from the bank telling me that the SLC has, in error, taken money from my account and caused rent payments to bounce. And we all know what will happen: it will be my fault because I didn't phone them/fax them/get a letter from my mum.
